On November 17-19, 2009, RBC CM visited HudBay’s Flin Flon and Snow Lake operations. RBC CM first toured the Lalor Lake exploration camp and was very impressed with the exploration work that has been carried out to date which has already outlined one of the larger zinc-rich VMS deposits in the world. The exciting potential of the copper-gold zone at Lalor is being drill tested and the highly anticipated results are expected early in Q1/10. RBC CM thinks that there is a possibility that Lalor Lake’s copper-gold zone may be larger than the norm for typical VMS orebodies. RBC CM believes the copper-gold zone may prove to be larger than its 2.5 million tonne estimate. RBC CM believes there is some exploration upside for Lalor’s base metal zones, but that would be limited to modest incremental tonnage rather than a multiple of the already defined resource. There is some potential for resource expansion for the gold zones, but like the base metal zones, the potential will only be known with further drilling.
